Antura appoints new key personnel to its Professional Services team to meet high demand

Antura is strengthening its organization with two of Sweden’s most experienced leaders in the PPM field in order to meet high demand for its flagship Antura Projects software and services. Patrik Bergström is taking over as Director Professional Services, and Peter Bergevald takes up the post of Consulting Director Gothenburg.

The Professional Services team secures the high-quality delivery of Antura’s flagship product Antura Projects, for companies such as Husqvarna, Copenhagen Airports, PostNord, Saab, Sandvik and Assa Abloy. Antura is in an expansive phase with annual growth of over 35%, and is now taking a major initiative on new geographical markets. To meet the high demand for Antura’s products and services, both in Sweden and internationally, Antura has brought in two new key people to leading positions.

Patrik Bergström takes up the post of Director Professional Services, with responsibility for leading and developing Antura Group’s delivery organization and delivery commitment to our customers globally. The team comprises around 30 people who are Project managers, Business consultants, Project experts, Solutions developers and Support providers.

He succeeds Patrik Strömbeck, who will continue to play a leading role in the company, including as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

In his role as Director Professional Services, Patrik Bergström will build on his experience as a business leader, business area manager and project portfolio expert. Patrik joins Antura from PTC, where he was Business Manager PTC University Nordic, which encompassed ultimate responsibility for PTC’s Learning & Adoption function in the region. He previously held various positions at Semcon, including as President for Semcon Project Management. Patrik Bergström has long played an important role in the Swedish PPM industry, particularly through his role as founder and President of the Swedish Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI).

–I’ve been following Antura since the beginning at the start of the millennium, and have been impressed by the way it has grown in tough competition on a fast-growing market with accelerating demands. Antura’s vision, mission, corporate culture and offering, along with the trust it has built with its clients, give it great potential to continue growing internationally moving forward. What I want to bring to the table is my international experience in project management, business development and international growth,” says Patrik Bergström, Director Professional Services, Antura Group.

Peter Bergevald is taking up the post of Consulting Director Gothenburg, which entails principal responsibility for Antura’s Gothenburg-based personnel in the Professional Services business area. Peter will also be a senior consultant in several of Antura’s major international assignments.

Peter has more than 20 years’ experience as a PMO manager and expert in project and portfolio management. Previous positions include PMO manager posts for global organizations such as Intermec and Jeppesen. Peter joins Antura from a role as Senior Consultant at ICA Banken, where for example he established a PMO, acted as a mentor in portfolio management and helped to drive the establishment of ICA’s new insurance company. Peter has also long been involved in PMI’s board of directors in Sweden.

–It’s very exciting to be working at Antura. I’ve been in close contact with Antura over the past 12 years, where in my various PPM roles I’ve been able to follow the company’s amazing development and expansion. With a great passion for everything to do with projects, programs, portfolios and project management offices, I look forward to being an integral part of a fantastic Antura team, and to be a part of the thrilling ongoing journey,” says Peter Bergevald, Consulting Director Gothenburg, Antura.

In their new roles at Antura, Patrik Bergström and Peter Bergevald will be striving to build the best possible foundation to ensure that Antura is able to meet the high demands of customers and employees in the years to come.

–We are delighted to have appointed key personnel at this level. It is testament to Antura’s performance as a company and our position on the market. With Patrik and Peter’s experience, this is a reinforcement that will be crucial to Antura’s continued growth,” says Mattias Andersson, CEO of Antura Group.
