Antura Awards: A celebration of exemplary project, portfolio and resource management

Alongside Antura’s 15th anniversary and Antura Day 2016, this year marked the launch of the Antura Awards, in which Antura recognizes and celebrates organizations that work with project, portfolio and resource management in an exemplary way.

The aim of the awards is to show Antura’s appreciation and to highlight good examples among clients and partners alike. Antura Awards are presented in four categories:

Best Implementation Award Private Sector

Best Implementation Award Public Sector

Honorary Award For Extraordinary Contributions to Antura Group 

Honorary Award For Lifetime Achievements in Project and Portfolio Management

The Crystal trophy is awarded to one winner in each category.

Judges

The panel of judges for the Antura Best Implementation Awards is appointed by Antura, and comprises representatives from the Professional Services business department. The judges are asked to name three nominees and one winner in each category. The panel for Antura Honorary Awards is made up of representatives from the Antura board and management team.

Antura Awards 2016 winners

Antura Awards 2016 were presented to the following:

Best Implementation Award 2016, Private Sector
Saab Aeronautics
Reason: Through consistent leadership and diligent effort, the project has landed a solution developed in close collaboration between the customer’s operational experts and Antura. The result is an advanced configuration, around a dozen integrations, thousands of project activities and resource planning for around 100 units. The solution will affect more than 1,000 people in projects around the world for a long time to come.

Best Implementation Award 2016, Public Sector
Svenska Kraftnät
Reason: A project characterized by the term ‘well-considered’ in every sense, and one that has focused its energy in the right places, must be regarded as a role model for any organization.

Honorary Award For Extraordinary Contributions to Antura Group
Husqvarna
Reason: For almost 10 years this organization has developed alongside Antura, and was one of the first clients to seriously take Antura Projects onto the international stage. With a collaboration characterized by helpfulness and in-depth competence, where Antura Projects has played a crucial role in the client’s own operation, Husqvarna has meant a tremendous amount in forming the product and the company Antura is today.

Honorary Award For Lifetime Achievements in Project and Portfolio Management
Kjell Rodenstedt
Reason: With great passion, this man has devoted his entire career to developing operations and individuals through project management, program management and portfolio management. Many of us in the industry value the generosity and helpfulness that are the hallmark of this man’s indisputable contribution to the development of the PPM sector, both in Sweden and internationally.
