Huddinge Municipality’s vision was to request a public tender for a project tool that would provide support for all projects within the municipality. After an extensive procurement process, Antura Projects was chosen.
Huddinge municipality aimed for a future project tool that would improve the planning, execution and follow-up of the projects that were undertaken. A joint tool would also help increase the number of people working according to the project model that currently is being developed within the municipality. In addition, the project tool should provide a better overview and monitoring of ongoing projects.
The project tool should provide support for the following areas:
Project structures
Template projects
Project attributes
Calculations, budget, forecasts and monitoring
Planning of projects, time and resources
Time reporting
Document management
Activation of investment projects
External and internal invoicing as well as linking with purchases
Permissions and requirements for information security
The municipality runs different types of projects, all needed to be supported by the tool.
Development Projects – Projects that usually consist of land development for sale (current assets) as well as investments in the development of geographical areas (fixed assets).
Investment Projects – Projects that only consist of investments in fixed assets.
Organizational Projects – Business development projects, e.g., process improvements, organizational development, IT, etc.
An important aspect of the requirements was that the system could be integrated with the ERP system, Agresso, and other business systems. It had to be able to transfer the project budget to Agresso. Also, it was a must that the financial outcomes was possible to be downloaded from Agresso.
After an open public procurement process, Antura Projects – Antura’s complete solution for PPM – was chosen.
“We are very pleased that another municipality has placed its trust in Antura. In the Stockholm region, Antura is already working together with municipalities such as Järfälla, Nacka, Norrtälje, Sollentuna and Haninge. We see considerable potential for an exchange of experiences and other synergies through the fact that more municipalities in the region are choosing Antura Projects as their general project tool. We wish Huddinge Municipality a warm welcome as a new customer of Antura!”
