City of Gothenburg chooses Antura in major procurement

Antura has started a significant collaboration with the City of Gothenburg. The city authority’s Road Traffic Committee along with the Planning and Building Committee, Property Management Committee, Älvstranden Utveckling AB and the Parks and Landscape Committee will use Antura Projects as the shared tool for project and portfolio management.

The City of Gothenburg is in a period of increasing urban development, and the various committees and enterprises are working together in project form. To support this development and the common working methods in urban planning projects, the Road Traffic Committee along with the Planning and Building Committee, Property Management Committee, municipal enterprise Älvstranden Utveckling AB and the Parks and Landscape Committee procured a shared platform for project and portfolio management.

One of the outcome targets mentioned in the brief related to “generally improved information management in projects, and thereby a more developed support for efficient steering, management and follow-up of projects and project portfolios”.

A joint PPM tool would also help increase the number of people working according to the set project model, as well as developing the management of budget, forecasts and results in projects. There were strict demands on the ability to integrate the PPM tool with other systems in the city authority’s committees and enterprises, such as the accounting system.

Antura has been a supplier to the City of Gothenburg’s City Premises Committee since 2013, and is thus further consolidating its position as the supplier of PPM tool to the city authority.

Aim to support and develop project-based activities

Antura Projects – Antura’s complete solution for project, portfolio and resource management – is planned for gradual introduction during 2016, with five separate installations. The focus will be on using the solutions in areas such as:

  • Road Traffic Committee investment projects

  • GEM, the shared planning process

  • The Älvstaden project

The intention is gradually to add functionality in order to support and develop project-based activities in the five committees and enterprises.
