New user interface for Antura Projects released

Antura announces the release of the eagerly awaited new version of its Project, Portfolio and Resource Management (PPM) tool Antura Projects with a new, update user interface. The goal with the new UI is to improve the user experience further by offering an easier to use, more modern visual interface.

User-Friendliness in Focus

First and foremost, the most important thing for all IT systems and their users is simplicity, to be able to find and navigate to the desired place in the system in an intuitive way that provides real practical support in users’ every day work. Antura has always made user-friendliness its number one priority and has historically received very high marks from its customers regarding Antura Project’s intuitiveness and usability.

Our primary inspiration has been our own customers and our own vision for the product, though we have also been influenced by current design trends as well as trends in the project tool industry on the whole.

The goals for the new interface in Antura Projects are to:

  1. Make it more transparent, intuitive and easy to use

  2. Put the focus on the relevant content that is shown on the screen

  3. Present data in a visual, interactive and appealing way

  4. Make it more modern and uncluttered

–Our work on user-friendliness is an ongoing process. The user experience and the fact that the tool actually adds value to the company are the primary factors for us. We are therefore very proud to be able to present Antura Projectsnew user interface, says Mattias Andersson, CEO of Antura.

In connection with the new user interface Antura is also releasing support for Kanban boards, part of a method for visualising workflow in order to balance demand with available capacity and spot bottlenecks. The world’s leading research and advisory company, Gartner, emphasizes that traditional project methodologies are being increasingly combined with agile methods. The introduction of support for agile ways of working, via Kanban boards for example, creates greater opportunities for transparency, streamlines collaboration and makes it easier to follow planned, executed and completed activities.
