Over the
years, Antura’s role has evolved in line with Init’s changing needs. Today, resource
management, especially resource planning, is at the heart of the company’s
project management processes. Every Monday, project owners and business leaders
hold resource meetings where workloads are reviewed, and plans refined. What
was once managed centrally by one person has become a well-established local
routine within each business area. This has decentralized responsibility and
strengthened ownership of resourcing — with Antura as the central hub.
– Weekly
resource meetings have become a natural part of the business and enable us to
monitor utilization and ensure the right resources are in the right place,
says Mats Hagberg, Senior Project Manager and Quality Manager at Init.
The number
of Antura users at Init has more than doubled during this period—from around 60
to over 130. In addition to resource management, document management has proven
invaluable, allowing developers to quickly locate and reuse important
documents. A significant change is that many more external users have now been
granted access to the projects. This has created a new level of transparency
and collaboration, enabling customers and partners to follow issues and receive
real-time updates directly in Antura.
– In
several of our major projects, Antura is used as a shared platform to record
action points and follow up on decisions. It replaces traditional meeting
minutes, helping to minimize the risk of misunderstandings, Mats adds.
For Init,
Antura has become more than just a system—it has become the way they work.
Resource planning may be the most important success factor, but the benefits
extend further. With Antura, the company has gained a new level of
transparency, both internally and in client relationships, where clear
follow-up and open case handling fosters trust. Efficiency has also improved
thanks to the powerful search capabilities of the document management feature,
enabling employees to reuse and share documents with ease. Moreover, the system
ensures precision in governance, with clear decision support and ongoing risk
management enhancing delivery reliability. The result is an organization that
has better control over their projects, uses their resources more effectively,
and delivers higher quality to meet customer demands.
Partnership
with Antura and the Road Ahead
Init’s relationship
with Antura reflects both longevity and flexibility. Init has received valuable
support with configurations and new features, while also building confidence
that enables them to work independently. Looking ahead, Init sees opportunities
to further expand their usage of Antura through integration with other systems
and an increased focus on data-driven decision-making. The ambition is to
continue developing and refining their working methods to meet future demands
for efficiency and digitalization.
– It is
a great pleasure to work with Mats. He is both knowledgeable and experienced,
with a deep understanding of Antura from implementing the system at several
previous workplaces, says Anna Lindström, Business Consultant and Customer
Manager for Init at Antura.
Advice
to Others
For Init, the
combination of a clear methodology and a powerful tool has proven essential for
building a culture of transparency, control, and efficiency. Drawing on his
extensive implementation experience, Mats Hagberg offers a key piece of advice
to other organizations starting out with Antura:
– My advice is to start with the methodology.
Ensure that processes are defined and clear from the outset. If that’s not
possible, work in parallel on establishing the methodology while introducing
the system. The most important thing is to have a foundation—without a clear
methodology, you will never realize the full value of Antura, Mats
concludes.
